Dark red is richer and moodier than a classic red rose, so it adds depth to bouquets and table designs. These 25 dark red artificial roses are made from soft latex foam with a realistic real-touch feel. The flowers and leaves don't shed, and the colour won't wither or fade.

What are foam roses made of?
A soft polyethylene (PE) foam moulded from real rose petals, so each petal carries the texture and subtle veining of the flower it was cast from. That's what gives real-touch foam its fresh-picked feel — silk flowers are woven fabric and can't reproduce it.
Are foam roses better than silk roses?
For realism and handling, yes: foam petals look and feel like fresh petals, hold their shape when carried, and don't fray. Silk still suits some large statement arrangements, but for bouquets, centrepieces and anything guests see up close, real-touch foam is the stronger choice.
Can foam roses be reshaped or bent?
Yes — stems are wired, so they bend and hold their angle for bouquets and arrangements, and the petals can be gently opened out or cupped to vary each bloom. That flexibility is one of the biggest practical advantages over rigid-stemmed silk flowers.
Do foam roses fade in sunlight?
Displayed indoors they hold their colour for years. Like any artificial flower, prolonged direct sunlight can slowly soften the colour, so avoid a south-facing windowsill if you want them exactly as-new for the long term.
